We are seeking a 2D Concept Artist to join the studio and spearhead artistic direction of Project MITA. We are developing a dark sci-fi PvP shooter that's at the bleeding edge of game design, player experience and technical execution. You will join as a founding member of a growing venture start-up, which will enable you to be in a position to influence design and artistic direction, while exploring the creative freedom of shaping the project vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES​

  • Translate game design briefs into sketches and final rendered images.

  • Produce concept art for landscapes, characters, weapons, vehicles, and other components of the game/universe.

  • Produce 2D turnarounds for 3D Artists.

  • Be comfortable with rapid iteration of early concept designs.

  • Work closely with the creative stakeholders on shaping and implementing the vision of the game.

  • Sketch and finalize elements of the UI.

  • Contribute creatively to the unique visual IP of the game and the narrative it’s based on.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong 2D skills and 2D portfolio, showcasing competences in the areas highlighted above.

  • Understanding of art pipelines in game design is a bonus.

  • Able to work independently and produce deliverables to deadlines.

  • Desire to work closely on a multiplayer dark sci-fi shooter project.
